About the Library
The Bombay College of Pharmacy (BCP) Library is an integral part of the institution, supporting teaching, learning, and research activities. It houses a rich collection of books, journals, eresources, non-book materials, and specialised pharmaceutical resources to meet the academic needs of students and faculty.
BCP is located close to the University of Mumbai, Kalina Campus. It is about 5 and 12 km from the domestic and international airports respectively. It is about 2.5 km from both Kurla and Santacruz railway stations and is easily reached by public transport from the central, western and Navi Mumbai suburbs.
The library follows the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) system and AACR standards for cataloguing. An online OPAC system provides easy access to library holdings. Modern facilities include a 50-seater reading hall with an additional loft, computer terminals, and internet access. The library also supports pharmaceutical industry professionals.
