About Bombay College of Pharmacy
Bombay College of Pharmacy (BCP) is a pioneer institution in pharmaceutical education in India. BCP was founded in 1957 by the Indian Pharmaceutical Association - Maharashtra State Branch (IPA - MSB) with financial assistance from the Government of Maharashtra and several pharmaceutical companies.
It is centrally located and well connected by road, rail and air. Since its inception as a college offering a Diploma in Pharmacy, the college has grown in stature and at present offers Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral programs of study in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

BCP has been recognized as the Best Industry Linked Institute in the Pharmacy category from AICTE-CII (2014, 2015, 2018). It is consistently ranked among India's top pharmacy institutions under NIRF (6th rank in 2016, 55th rank in 2023, 73rd rank in 2024).
Institution Innovation Council (IIC) established at Bombay College of Pharmacy, Mumbai, has undertaken various activities prescribed by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, to promote Innovation and Start-ups in campus, and was awarded a 4-Star rating in 2022.
