Chairman's Desk
Mr. Nitin N. Maniar
Chairman - Governing Body
Bombay College of Pharmacy (Autonomous)
Mr. Nitin N. Maniar serves as the Chairman of the Governing Body of the Bombay College of Pharmacy. Under his leadership, the institute continues to strengthen its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and advancements in pharmaceutical education and healthcare.
It is my privilege to extend my warm greetings to the students, faculty members, alumni, and well-wishers of the Bombay College of Pharmacy (BCP). As one of the premier institutions in pharmaceutical education, BCP has consistently remained committed to excellence in teaching, research, and professional development.
At BCP, we are actively embracing the digital transformation in healthcare. Through initiatives such as the Academy of Digital Health Sciences, the institute is introducing innovative programs that prepare pharmacists and healthcare professionals to succeed in an increasingly digital healthcare ecosystem.
The Professional Development Program introduced for selected-year students focuses on emerging domains such as digital health ecosystems, telemedicine, and artificial intelligence in healthcare. With the guidance of eminent experts including Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, along with international experts from institutions such as Harvard and Stanford, we aim to equip our students with the knowledge and skills needed to drive meaningful transformation in healthcare.
Bombay College of Pharmacy continues to strengthen innovation and experiential learning. With facilities such as the pilot plant and the upcoming 3D printing laboratory, we are bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. These initiatives will enable clinicians and researchers to develop customized dosage forms and advance patient-centric healthcare solutions.
It is truly encouraging to see our students and alumni making significant contributions across diverse domains of pharmaceutical sciences, healthcare, and industry. Their achievements reflect the strong academic foundation and professional values nurtured at BCP.
I extend my sincere appreciation to our dedicated faculty, staff, alumni, and the Indian Pharmaceutical Association – Maharashtra State Branch (IPA-MSB) for their continued support and commitment. Through these collective efforts, Bombay College of Pharmacy continues to uphold its reputation as one of the leading pharmacy institutes in the country.
Let us continue to work together to strengthen innovation, research, and education while preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
With warm regards,
Mr. Nitin N. Maniar
